As 2013 heads into it’s final couple of months, here are some incidental thoughts I jotted down on napkins and old airline tickets and notebook paper.
There are many wonderful things about doing the job I have created for myself. One good thing: I cannot be replaced by an app.
The good part about being self-employed is that you are the boss and you make the decisions. Those are also the bad things about being self-employed.
People Magazine is getting ready for their “End-of-the-Year” issue, and as always they’ll announce a “Sexiest Man Alive!” I was thrilled to be a part of the process, until the entourage of editors and writers and the woman in charge came up my walk and knocked on my door. Because when I answered the woman with a clipboard glanced at me ever so briefly and said, “Nope!” Then they left.
Airlines are out of control. United is now charging for emotional baggage.
