The Week-In-Rear-View-Mirror has been dormant for two weeks. We apologize! Things have been absolutely insane. Did you watch The Miss America Pageant on Sunday? The judges asked the contestants what they thought of the anti-immigration bill in Arizona, the new 1070. Miss California said, “Too much talk; not enough rock!” We’ve been all over the place in the past two weeks. Thursday, May 6 we went to Rahway, NJ, and performed at the gorgeous Union County Performing Arts Center. We did shows at Camp Haluwasa in Hammonton, NJ, and at The Community House in Moorestown, NJ (right down the street from Taylor Mason Headquarters!), both on Saturday night, May 8.  New Jersey is nothing like what you see on the TV show “Jersey Shore.” For one thing, there are millions of people who have IQ’s higher than 42 in the real New Jersey. Sunday, May 9, we played the amazing Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Monday, May 10 was a great night for our career. We performed for Philadelphia Police Chief Charles Ramsey, some 250 police officers and their families, Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams, and a lot of people who live in the Feltonville area of Philly. Who says a ventriloquist can’t work in the streets!? We were treated with great respect, the audience was amazing, and Romeo took some shots at local politicians and Washington, D.C., and got huge laughs! We’ll never forget it! A bunch of unhappy Facebook users are promoting a “Quit Facebook Day” on May 31 to protest Facebook’s privacy policy. It has less than 1000 users committed to the protest so far, but we have more than a million “friends” in our group, called “Let’s see if we can get more than a million people to do nothing about Facebook’s privacy policy!” Thursday and Friday, May 13 and 14 we were honored to open the newest casino hotel in Deadwood, South Dakota. THE LODGE is awesome, and if you’re in the area, make sure you check it out. It’s about 10 minutes from Sturgis, the Harley-Davidson capital of the world, and Mt. Rushmore is minutes away. If you get the chance, GO! And Saturday, May 15th we were in Batavia, Illinois, to celebrate the wedding of Taylor’s niece, Alison! CONGRATULATIONS ALI AND ANTHONY! THE COMPLETE IDIOTS GUIDE TO VENTRILOQUISM is out, available in stores and at amazon.com! Check it out!
