It’s Christmas time, and the signs are everywhere! If you want to buy everything mentioned in the song “The 12 Days of Christmas” this year, it will cost you $96,824. Sounds like a high price, but there are two reasons:
1) the price of gold has skyrocketed this year, and
2) the nine ladies dancing have refused to show up unless you buy an additional four golden rings (including the “five golden rings” in the song) and give all nine to them!
And the hottest-selling calendar in England this year is one showing pictures of road kill! It’s pretty disgusting, and the controversy has hit supernova as the holiday season gets underway. That’s because the road kill photo for the month of December is someone’s grandma who got run over by a reindeer!
